Kelly thrives on helping others reach their optimal health. At a young age (7 years old) Kelly learned the power of nutrition as she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Carrying her interest into earning a degree in dietetics and juggling the balance of disease management, she realised that despite her medical team’s advice and public health claims, the whole-grain/carbohydrate heavy diet destroys our success for stable blood sugars, let alone, harried psyche, auto-immune disease control and weight goals.
Kelly has an embracive and empathetic approach when helping you reach your (health) goals. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
As a Registered Dietitian, Kelly lends her expertise and compassion for health to clients and customers by educating them on therapeutic holistic nutrition. She brings diverse and comprehensive experience in nutrition education and sales.
Kelly finished her dietetic internship at Loyola University Chicago in 2007. Prior to her graduate work, she graduated from the University of Ohio with a bachelor’s of science in dietetics.
Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Kelly began a career in Public Relations representing a number of well-known (food) brands. Where her integrity got the best of her, she branched off and began working for a small business in Chicago doing their health marketing and meal plan development. Further on, Kelly started working with one of her mentors at Abbott Nutrition. With polished research skills, Kelly and he husband moved across the world to Australia where Kelly pursued her passion, as well as, progressed her business skills in the technology industry.
On a typical day you can find Kelly reading up on the latest nutrition news or research, hiking, biking or soaking up nature. Kelly is down-to-earth, admits her faults, failures, successes and experiences in hopes she can produce information that others can benefit from. In 2009, Kelly started her Paleo journey – had always eaten a low carbohydrate diet – and now sings it’s praises to inspire others to feel what she feels when tweaking nutrition in the right direction.

Kelly lived in Melbourne, Australia as she became a newlywed in 2011 for 2 years and has returned to her homeland in the USA. In Melbourne she observed many traditions, experienced from heritages across the world, particularly Australian and European. Therefore, Kelly easily adapts to individual lifestyles and eager to learn from her clientele.

The Paleo Pledge is a commitment you make where Kelly will help coach you to eat foods that are clean of sugar, grains, gluten, lectins and other processed foods for 4 weeks. She will provide weekly motivation, support, Q&A sessions and meal plan guidance. This is a great way to reset your genes to be healthy and fuel efficient. Expectations can include better sleep, decreased inflammation, diminished anxiety, weight loss, energy and more. This program can help educate you on how to amend your lifestyle to be your best person.
